Welcome
Welcome to The JamHouse Forum.

Hi, I'm Tony Avery, founder of The JamHouse. The JamHouse is a free jam club whereby musicians and vocalists actually gather to jam and perform with one another in a friendly, easy going, non competitive, and fun atmosphere. The motto of The JamHouse is: Musicians Honoring Musicians. And it is within this spirit that we meet, play music, and socialize with one another.

The JamHouse Forum is an extension of The JamHouse and is used by The JamHouse members and guests to better know one another. The forum can also help in scheduling jams, rehearsals, gigs, parties, cookouts, and other events within our membership.

The JamHouse provides a place where member musicians and vocalists can come to enjoy socializing with one another and to jam, form bands, rehearse, collaborate, and to have a great time playing the music they love. The JamHouse opened on Dec. 8th, 2007 with 23 members in attendance and has been going strong ever since. While originally our jams were held on private property and open to a limited number of members per jam our member base has grown to the point where we now meet at local venues around Raleigh where our numbers can be better accommodated. Venues such as Fat Daddy's, Reds, Tailgaters, and most recently The Pickled Onion and Bone Daddy's Hideaway.

By joining this free forum and music community, you will be able to read and post topics, you'll be able to communicate privately with other members (PM), respond to polls, upload content, and access many other special features such as email, right from our forum. Registration is fast, simple, and absolutely free, so please, join our music community today!

JamHouse members receive notices and email invitations to jam. When you receive an invitation it is important that you RSVP your intentions to attend, or not, for any particular jam. Another musician can be invited in your place if you cannot be here. Space is limited, even at venues around town, and we wish not to "over invite" and become over crowded. Overcrowding results in less quility playing time for all.

As a forum member you are encouraged to submit a member bio, song list, and any other info that will help members to better know one another. Of course attending our jams is a fast and fun way to meet other members.

Thanks for visiting The JamHouse Forum. Please consider joining our jam club and register. You will then be ready to start attending our jams and other events. Please call on me if I can be of any assistance to you.

The Blenders.

That's right, The Blenders. Five musicians from a wide range of musical backgrounds somehow found one another and have created a new recipe for success unlike any you've heard in a while. Mix five parts musician, five parts vocalist, five parts talent, with five parts of tremendous fun and creativity. Shake ingredients and slowly pour over a chilled stage. Now sit back and let the magic work and before you can ask for a slice of lime, you're hit full face with the newest and coolest sound that's called "The Blenders." Now you have it. Perfect. Meet Mike on keys and vocals, Ann on guitar and lead vocals, Mark on bass and vocals, Joe on lead guitar and vocals, and Bob on drums and vocals. What a fantastic mix of just the right stuff from folk to blues to rock and more. With the fresh, lively, and fun lyrics of their own original music interlaced with the best covers The Blenders sound is right on and often takes you back to many fond memories of the music that made you pay attention while it made musical history. You've just got to hear The Blenders at your next opportunity. For more about The Blenders and for booking go to www.theblendersnc.com. Thanks for reading. Tony @ The JamHouse.

The one and only Joe Weeks, second from left, of the band Twist Of Fate visits with Mike and others during break. It's always great to see other fine musicians coming out to support and enjoy their peers.
